Women's Ministry Leaders

Debbie McHenry

Debbie likes to spend time gardening, reading, and vacationing at the beach. She and Jeff have twin boys, Ryan and Matt. She has faced challenges associated with the birth of premature babies and grown in her faith through her son's disability. Debbie enjoys connecting women with God through His Word and with fellow seekers through fellowship.

Lynn Looloian

Lynn is married to John, who serves as Director of Finance and Operations for Covenant Chapel. They have two grown children, Matt and Kristen. She enjoys using her God-given talents for Women's Ministry, as she has benefited from the fellowship and teaching she has received over the years from godly women and desires to pass this on. Lynn also serves as Coordinator of the Covenant Chapel Prayer ministry. In her spare time, she likes to read.

Shea Looloian

Shea is married to Matt Looloian, Director of Young Adult and College Ministries at Covenant Chapel.  She graduated from Texas Christian University with a degree in dietetics and is currently working as a registered dietitian for Women Infants and Children.  She loves reading, cooking, camping, soccer, and all water sports.  Shea has been challenged and encouraged by many women throughout the years and desires to encourage the growth of the community of women in the church.  In particular, She would love help connect younger and older women together so they may help each other persevere throughout the trials of life.  Shea hopes to live overseas sometime in her life and share the gospel with people who do not have the same privileges as Americans.

Betts Rawalt

A native Iowan raised in the Missouri Synod Lutheran church, Betts is a charter member of Covenant Chapel and seasoned woman of faith. She and her husband, Pete, have two grown and married sons that live in the Kansas City area along with their wonderful daughters-in-law and grandchildren. After retiring as a schools nurse for the Blue Valley Schools, Betts wanted to increase her involvement with the women of Covenant Chapel. Longing to grow and encourage others led her to serve as a member of the Women's Ministry Team. Her vision is that all women have a heart relationship with Jesus.

Kristalynn Redstone

Kristalynn has felt an undeniable draw (call) to connect with and minister to women whether it's through meeting basic needs, fostering relationships or growing deeper with God. This passion has led her to serve on the leadership of MOPS a ministry for moms of preschoolers. She is also a founding board member for the Kansas City chapter of Newborns In Need, an organization helping under-privileged and premature babies. She and her husband, Troy, have a daughter and son, Kyra and Chet. Kristalynn loves to cook and spend time with friends.

Sue Whitworth

Sue's career was ministering to women as a nurse in OB/GYN/NEWBORNS for 37 years at Shawnee Mission Medical Center.  She is now enjoying retirement and more time to do some of her favorite things, time with her four grandchildren, cooking, decorating, reading Bible study and travel. Raised in the Methodist Church, she and her husband, Yancy, followed her son Chris and his wife Toni to Covenant Chapel more than 10 years ago.  Four years later, Sue became a member after attending a Bible study and going through the Alpha program. She says, "knowing the names and faces of many, I began to feel I belonged and became an active member. Since that time, service in several areas has given me the opportunity to meet wonderful people and my heart has moved in a most positive way."
