The Gospel, The Culture and The Church

“We are all on a mission with Jesus every day, and we are either good missionaries or bad ones.” Mark Driscoll, The Radical Reformission

Jesus has called us to the gospel (loving our Lord), the culture (loving our neighbor), and the church (loving our brother). When we pursue all three simultaneously people begin relationships with Christ, grow as his disciples, and further the kingdom of Christ.

So what’s gone wrong? Why, as followers of Christ, does it seem we can only pursue two of the three at the same time? We need Reformission: a radical change in how we share the gospel with men and women in our post-Christian culture.

In the summer of 2010, college students and young adults learned and discussed what it looks like to pursue our calling to the gospel, the culture and the church. Click the links below to download a discussion guide.
