Budapest, Hungary :: Fall 2011

a project of Campus Crusade for Christ, Hungary

Join us in fall 2011 for BHHP (Bringing in the Hungarian Harvest Project) 2011. Each year we mobilize a group from Covenant Chapel to partner with Campus Crusade for Christ in Hungary in a variety of ministry activities:

  • Youth at the Threshold of Life (YTL) - through this state-sponsored sexual education curriculum, thousands of students in Hungarian public schools have heard the gospel. We’ll spend a weekend at a YTL symposium, training and sharing the gospel with hundreds of educators and professionals.
  • College Campus Ministry - during BHHP we’ll assist Campus Crusade by distributing thousands of Student Survival Kits on university campuses. Then we’ll follow up with students who want to hear the gospel, but have never heard.
  • Outreach Events - we’ll work with Campus Crusade to organize and host dorm outreach events for college and high school students.
  • Kontrast - through a partnership between YTL, the Hungarian Police and the Reformed Church, Kontrast provides an exhibit and assemblies designed to teach high school students about safety, sexuality and the Judeo-Christian worldview.

During BHHP 2011, you’ll also get to know Hungarians who have a burden to reach their country and the world with the gospel. We’ll also spend some time enjoying Budapest - one of Europe’s most beautiful cities.
