partner organizations

The Community Missions team at Covenant Chapel partners with three local Christ-centered organizations that are actively living the Gospel each and every day.

City Union Mission
City Union Mission

City Union Mission is a homeless shelter near downtown Kansas City that has been uncompromising in their commitment to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with the hurting and the lost. City Union Mission receives no government support and is not a United Way agency. The Mission depends completely on the gifts of God's people--individuals, churches, groups, foundations and businesses who care about the poor and homeless. Covenant Chapel’s relationship with City Union Mission includes monthly family nights and an annual drive.

The Hope Center
The Hope Center

The Hope Center is a Christian community development organization that is working diligently to renew the forgotten, impoverished east side community. The Hope Center is investing in its people, in particular the youth, anticipating that their transformed lives will offer the hope and leadership needed for our inner city community to flourish. The Hope Center provides a medical clinic, a housing program, a youth leadership program, and education assistance programs. Covenant Chapel supports The Hope Center by organizing annual drives and corresponding service days.

Bridge Home for Children
The Bridge Home for Children

The Bridge Home “The Bridge” is a Kansas City-based non-profit organization dedicated to helping boys and girls, ages 8 - 18, who are victims of abuse and neglect. It operates two state-licensed facilities--one for boys and one for girls--which accept referrals from Missouri Division of Family Services and the private sector. The purpose of The Bridge is to provide life skills, self-esteem, educational support, and a loving environment to these youngsters to enable them to succeed in life as responsible and contributing members of our community. Covenant Chapel supports the Bridge Home by organizing annual drives and corresponding service days, as well as ongoing financial support.
