Impacting Ministries Capital Fund

The IMCF (Impacting Ministries Capital Fund) exists to free up more money for ministry. Check out this video or read on below to learn more...

What is the IMCF?

The IMCF (Impacting Ministries Capital Fund) is a debt reduction program at Covenant Chapel. We believe in eliminating our building-related debt as quickly as possible in order to free up more and more funds for ministry, outreach, evangelism, and missions.

Why the IMCF?

The idea behind the IMCF is to reduce debt and thereby save money that can be used for ministry instead of interest payments and debt reduction. Covenant Chapel currently has approximately $2.3 million of debt related to our two buildings. In a given year this costs us over $100,000 of interest alone - let alone money we designate to pay down the actual debt principal.

Now imagine how much money would be freed up for ministry if this debt was gone. It would be close to $300,000 per year!

Since the IMCF was started in 2006, we have paid down over half a million dollars of debt. That alone has already saved us close to $40,000 in interest payments!

How can you help?

Take the IMCF Challenge: give to free up more money for ministry. If every member of Covenant Chapel gives $20 per week, all funds will be freed up in less than 9 years.

At Covenant Chapel, we believe tithes and offerings are first and foremost, as our responsibility given us by God. But while maintaining your generous commitments to support Covenant Chapel through tithes and offerings, will you also pray and consider this opportunity? We desire to generously free up funds through IMCF so the work of the Lord through Covenant Chapel ministries can expand.
