God is at work in and through the people and ministries of Covenant Chapel. Together, we long to encounter God through worship and His Word, encourage others through caring community around the cause of Christ, and engage the world with the love and truth of the Gospel.
In pursuit of this goal, we are called to ‘work the works of Him who sent us’ and to ‘serve each other with the gifts we have.’ (See John 9:4 and 1 Peter 4:10.)
Covenant Chapel is committed to helping people grow as generous, cheerful and sacrificial givers. With this in mind, we ask you to think through the following questions:
- What do you have that you did not receive? (1 Corinthians 4:7)
- How will you serve with your gifts?
As you prayerfully consider your financial commitment for the 2010-11 year, would you be willing to increase your giving by at least 1% of your income? Will you commit to tithing 10% of your income, or grow toward tithing 10% over time?
Once you have had a chance to pray and think about your financial commitment, please let us know in one of two ways:
