Bob Bonness

elder

Family: wife: Chris, daughters: Sara, Laura

Influences: This may sound like a cop-out, but most of the people I get to know very well at all.

Epic Moments: college: faith becoming intentional. My first triathlon: thought I was going to drown and then would never run again after the bike.

Spare Time: in no special order: woodworking, bicycling, photography, playing the bass guitar (still hoping to get this one out of the basement)

Books: often, the one I'm reading or I wouldn't finish it. I mostly read for information/perspective. Well written works have a beauty independent of the content.

Music: It depends on my mood. Most genres excluding really scratchy, noisy stuff without a beat

Movies: Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, and the like

Food: Ice cream

At Starbucks, I order a: mild coffee, large or whatever they call it, with enough ice to cool it down so I can taste it without risk of bodily injury

Biggest Frustration: the heads of screws breaking off one quarter turn away from their final expected position of duty

Motivation: discovering the "right" answer when it wasn't even imagined at the beginning of trying to solve the problem

Personal Motto: Jesus and Paul have some great one liners, but recently it's been: "There's no victory without a battle."

Your role at Covenant Chapel (in your own words): Hmm. Prayer, Facilitator. Laughing easily with people that might not even realize that they're very very funny.
