Summer Time Schedule for Middle School and High School Ministry

Middle School 6-7:30pm

High School 7:30-9pm

June 16th - Flag Football at Covenant Chapel

June 23rd - Tony Richardson speaks at Covennat Chapel - HS Room (NOTE: We are meeting from 6:45-8:30 on this night)

June 30th - Pool Party at Bachmans House - Bring a snack to share! Directions from Covenant Chapel

July 7th - Movie Night at Covenant Chapel - Bring your favorite movie food to share!

July 14th - Bonfire night - Oliver Farm - 18302 State Line Rd. Stilwell, KS Directions from Covenant Chapel

July 21st - Water Olympics -at Covenant Chapel - Wear bathing suit and bring a towel.

July 28th - Event TBA

August 4th - Last Summer Youth Connections - Pool Party - Location TBA

Middle School - Canoe Trip

UPDATE:

Here are the details that you need to know:

Please be at the church at 9:30am on Monday morning, June 7th. We will leave at 10:00am.
We will return to the church on Wednesday, June 9th at 3:30pm.

If you have not filled out a consent form you can click Canoe Trip Consent Form . Please remember to copy your medical card for us ahead of time.
If at all possible, please turn in the Consent form with copied Medical card and your remaining balance (if you have one) on or before this Sunday, June 6th. If you don’t know what your balance is contact me and I’ll let you know.
If your student has invited a friend(s), please pass this email on to them as I do not have their email address.

Dates: June 7 - 9th

River Ranch Resort, Noel Missouri

Cost: $140 if you pay your deposit before May 16th- Deposit amount is $75 and is non-refundable.

After May 16th the cost is $155 and will need to be paid in full to sign-up.

Spots fill up fast and are given on a first come-first served basis.

Join us as we kick off our summer program with an awesome trip to River Ranch Resort. We will raft and canoe over 11 miles of water, swim, have friendly competitions in mini-golf and volleyball and much more. Check out www.riverranchresort.com to see where we stay and canoe!

This will be an awesome trip and our Student Ministries team is excited to see what the Lord does in building our community and leading us into a deeper walk with Him!

We will be having dinner together and then heading out for some night-time snow-tubing at Snow Creek in MO. Total cost is $35 (transportation, 2 hours tubing, dinner included) due no later than Wednesday, January 27th.

Mark your calendars for the last event of 2009! Be sure to invite your friends as we get together to celebrate Jesus! We'll have some great food, fun games and share crazy white-elephant gifts. We'll meet at the church from 6-9pm. Sign up in the Middle School room starting November 29th so that we can get an idea of how many will be there. Looking forward to a great time with you all!

Fall Retreat: Corn Maze and Bonfire Night

Middle School Students bring your friends and join us as we head to the Liberty Corn Maze to take on the challenge of this year's Power and Light theme! We will fight our way through miles of corn and then head back to the Oliver farm for a bonfire, worship, and s'mores.

When: October 10, Saturday 5pm-10:00pm

Where: Meet at church at 5pm, activity in Liberty, MO, to Oliver Farm, return to church at 10pm.

Cost: $15 - includes pizza at the church before we leave!

Welcome to Middle School

Welcome to the new blog for Middle School ministry! Here you will find information for ongoing Middle School meetings as well as special events. This will be the place to check for updates to event details as well as announcements for cancellations due to weather.

The Middle School ministry meets regularly on Sunday mornings during the 10:45 service (10:45 - Noon) and on Wednesday Nights from 6:45pm to 8:00pm during the school semester. We also have various retreats and trips that we take to give our students experiences that will help them grow in their faith.

Our 6 month calendar will be accessible on the Middle School page soon and you can always pick up a Student Ministries Update at church (upstairs OR downstairs!).
