Mark Chinery - Husband of Teri (27 years); father to Brad (22 yrs old / USAF), Kati (22 years old / K-State), Alan (20 years old / K-State) and Adam (16 years old /BVHS).  We had a corporate move to Johnson County in December 1996 and joined Covenant Chapel in 2005.  Areas of service include the BHHP Team 2009, Life Course Team, Leading Sunday Adult Education, Covenant Community Group, Men’s Wednesday Morning Bible Study and I assist Teri with Sunday Morning coffee.  Mark has also participated with the Grounds/Building Maintenance team.

Rick Skaggs - Husband of Angela (22 great years); father to Kyle (K-State), Ryan (K-State), Eric (BVHS-11th)and Sean (BVHS-10th). We have lived next to Blue Valley High School since 1992 and joined Covenant Chapel in 1993. Areas of service include children's ministry since our arrival, teaching God's children from ages 1 to 11. Currently teaching and loving the ones and twos. Member of the first Deacon board, serving  two terms. Church treasurer for seven years. Various financial teams over the past 15 years. Leader for various small groups  including 40 Days of Purpose. Communion service team. Miscellaneous teams over time.

Marshall Bigelow - Husband of Jackie. Marshall has been a member since the early 1990s and is involved in about any helping ministry around.

Jason Carlson - Husband of Jennifer. Jason is active in community groups, Kids’ Cove and adult ministries.

Dylan Kruger - Husband of Katherine and a father for second time less than two weeks ago. Dylan is active in community groups and lots of time in nursery.

Tom LeDoux - Tom is a regular vocalist in Sunday morning worship. He also takes care of some of the administrative pieces of the worship ministry. He has led our Alpha program for some time.

Lynn Looloian - Wife of John, who is the director of finance and operations at Covenant Chapel. Lynn leads the prayer ministry of our church and is actively involved in many other ministries as well.

Kathy Bryles - Kathy is fairly new to Covenant Chapel. She previously served as staff member for Campus Crusade overseas and in the U.S., including Kansas City.

Deb Reed - Wife of Tom. Deb is a charter member of Covenant Chapel and has been active in prayer ministry, community groups, Kids’ Cove and other aspects of ministry.

Kathy Knudsen will present tips on how-to decorate your home for the holidays and Connee Sanders will speak on hospitality in the home. Covenant Chapel hostesses will be at work creating lovely tablescapes where you can enjoy brunch in a beautifully decorated atmosphere-all free of charge.

Searching for stability? Who isn't these days. On Sunday, September 27, join us for Story of the Soul at Covenant Chapel, where we examine the soul's longing for stability.

Story of the Soul is an interactive, coffeehouse experience. Using art, film, music, poetry and other media, we explore the stories the soul of mankind is and has always been telling.

"Project Hope," will encourage us to move into our community where people who are homeless are known to be living. We will be bringing them food, community resource information and other necessities.

The goal is to build relationships with the homeless community and ultimately sharing God's Good News, connecting them to a local church and services that will help them move toward more permanent housing or other services needed.

The Community Group Sing is a great chance for you to enjoy an informal night of praise and worship with other folks from our church. Completing his junior year at OSU in 2008, Zac is currently the 5th-ranked active passer in NCAA football. He was a finalist for the 2008 Manning Award and a semifinalist for the 2008 Davey O'Brian Award, two of college footballs highest honors.

Zac will join us during both services on Sunday, June 21, to talk about his faith in Jesus as a college athlete. Make plans now to join us for this fun, free event!
